Op 110 locaties in Eindhoven is het werk van 2600 designers te bekijken. Circulair, maatschappelijk, technologisch, er is van alles te zien. Omdat het onmogelijk is om alles te zien, hebben wij een leuke route voor je uitgestippeld.

Stand Klokgebouw 50, Hall 2 – Stand ‘Applied Design Research as Catalyst of Change’. The project is in collaboration with a start-up of Suzanne Kemps (Proud Breast) – a product designer who went through breast cancer treatment. She noticed that current design of solutions aim to provide replacement, therefore communicating the idea that a woman’s body is incomplete if missing a breast. A body with detachable cup – research showed that when women feel comfortable with the people around, they often remove the prosthesis. Having it external to the bra makes the removal and placement of the prosthesis easier and more comfortable while preserving the bra/lingerie in place
